Description
A Final Protective Line is a preplanned barrier between assaulting forces and an Infantry defensive position. To “Fire the FPL” a machine gunner will lay the weapon on his right or left limit and expend all ammunition in an effort to protect his unit behind a wall of lead.
The FPL, a CCS Gunwear hybrid holster, represents that wall from which you protect your people.
Features of the FPL:
-Heavyweight leather backer that has been dyed, sealed and edged to increase comfort and service life. Also increasing service life are eyelets around the screw holes that will protect the edges of the hole.
-Spring steel or molded kydex clips screwed down and using a machine-grade lock washer to prevent free spin making the holster easier to put on.
-Fully formed kydex shell that is molded in a clamshell shape and secured to the leather at the slide. This allows for closer-to-the-gun clip placement achieving a narrower foot print. The shell is also cut very high so the pants can’t roll over the top and impede re-holster. Single or Double retention screw beneath a relief cut create uniform adjustable tension where you want it, not where you don’t.
