A vertical figure 8 done for a co-worker of my wife’s. The holster is built for a Taurus Tracker .357 (model 627 I think). Customer chose a mahogany dye with white stitching and a medium shine. The vertical option worked well because this in not a small gun. We used speed strips for the reload and used a partially open bottom on the holster to prevent the “sword draw” effect. Then…the bling. Another solder project for my wife. The gun holds 7 shots so we cut down 7 expended rounds (with only a little damage to my face from flying debris) and Mrs. Commando did the rest. This piece is attached with two wide tongues that go through the leather and fold outward. Below is the customer’s last name (yes, i got permission before posting this). All told it was a great project to work on and the end result is a fully customized shoulder holster that will last a lifetime.
